I'm learning what it is to be 23 years old with a taste for real, delicious, healing food in a society of convenience and ill health.
I'm a first year naturopathic medical student. I'm becoming a doctor, slowly, as I become my own self, too.
I've learned through studies and through life that it's best for me--and best for most of my patients-- to eat meat and vegetables, and to avoid wheat, dairy, sugar and soy. The diet is simple enough... but it's a lifestyle shift that takes some real effort. I'm working on it.
